Abstract


An endemic karst dwelling gecko from western Madagascar is commonly encountered in caves. Copulation was observed during daytime and we discuss two conflicting or complementary hypotheses about its cave occurrence during daytime, trophic hypothesis and predation avoidance hypothesis.
