Acyrthosiphon (A.) loti (Hemiptera: Aphididae) founded on Lucerne in Argentina

Abstract


Acyrthosiphon A. loti (Theobald) (Aphididae) has been found for the first time in Argentina and South America, on cultivate lucerne ( Medicago sativa L.) (Fabaceae). This is the seventh aphid species recorded in Argentina on lucerne. The peculiar characteristics of studied specimens are given. Modifications to a previous identification key are presented
