Abstract


Two new species: I armillatus (ex Fulica armillata Veillot) and I. emersoni (cx Fulica rufifrons Philippi & Landbech) are described in a comparative form together with I. fulicae (Linné, 1758) (ex Fulica atra (Linné)) and I. transpositus (Kellogg, 1896) (ex Fulica americana (Linné)), giving considerations about some geographic distributions and providing a key to species.
