Data and World distribution of Liriomyza huidobrensis (Blanchard) are reporter in accordance with bibliography.
On reference their biology the leng of their various ontogenetical stages haven been determined and observation indicates that the pupa lies underground for some time in the winter.
Their polyphagia has been verified; several horticultural, fodder and industrial plants. Damage to crops of economic value are mentioned.
As regarde their morphology, descriptions have been made taking into account the outstanding general features of the various stages in their development.
Two microhymenopterous parasites Opius scabriventris Nixon 1955 and Euparacrias phytomizae (Bréthes, 1923) have been reported for the first time in our country and the intensity and time of infestation.
